  This is not my bank. I gave up on the Commonwealth bank years ago. However, I pass it frequently when I'm shopping at the Kippa-Ring Shopping Centre. Inevitably I see a long que of people waiting to be served.
  
  The other day I had to pay a bill there. We chose a time we thought might be less busy. But when we got there found at least eight people waiting. We decided to do some other things and come back about half an hour later. The que now had twelve people waiting. We decided to join the que.
  
  The lady behind us was on a walker. Obviously, she couldn't stand on her feet all the time, so she sat while a customer was being attended to, and then got up, walked the few steps and then sat down again. It was a long, painful wait for her.
  
  Her husband had to drive her down from some distance to this branch, as the branches are slowly decreasing in numbers.
  
  It isn't really fair to the customers or to the staff.
  
  It was almost twenty minutes later that we were served by a lady who was really lovely considering that she must get some very irritated customers. The que behind us was just as long as when we'd arrived.
  
  For the 2022 financial year, the Commonwealth Bank Profit was $9.595 BILLIONS after tax. 11 percent higher than in the previous year.
  
  And why not?
  
  It's shut down, who knows how many branches. Decreased its staff, while forcing the remaining ones to serve the same number of customers.

  Loved talking to the helpful staff, Kelly and Bianca were very pleasant to talk to and both were highly experienced when assisting us.

  Often took 3 staff members to work through a customer query.
  
  Waited over an hour for support, only to watch specialists go to lunch.
  
  When asked if there would be an estimated time to be seen, home lending specialist said he can’t help.
  
  When I asked if you can make appointments, they said yes but if you want it done now you have to wait….after already waiting an hour.
  
  Staff need to explain this upfront. Everyone’s time is valuable.

  Visited to open a new account. The staff at the reception was kind enough to explain and verify the process meanwhile apologizing for keeping me waiting for a few minutes. The place is a little bit crowded. Closes sharply at 4pm.

  Does anyone work here? Been waiting 45 minutes for an ‘expert consultant’. No indication if this will take hours. A long line of customers waiting on one teller to be served.
